PRICING

All orders are subject to the price in effect at the time the order is placed. Prices do not include shipping, crating (where required), taxes, duties, or installation. All prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

PLACING AN ORDER

All orders must be submitted to Karice. Orders may be emailed to info@karice.com or mailed to Karice Lighting Inc., Unit 317 – 8988 Fraserton Court, Burnaby, BC, Canada V5J 5H8.

LEAD TIMES

Lead times typically 12-16 weeks and will be confirmed per project and depend on final drawing approval, fixture complexity, certification, and shipping method. All products are made to order. Where a project requires a faster schedule, Karice will review the options with your project team; expedited production or air freight may apply an additional charge.

SHIPPING

Karice ships in accordance with the customer’s instructions, or through carriers and freight forwarders Karice considers reliable. Products ship FOB origin: risk of loss, damage, and title pass to the buyer on delivery to the carrier. Freight and crating are billed separately, and actual freight and crating costs are confirmed at the time of shipment.

PAYMENT TERMS

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the purchase price is required to begin production of the order. Shop drawings begin after the deposit is received. The balance is due once the customer is notified that the products are ready to ship, and products are released for shipment after payment is received. The customer is responsible for all applicable sales and use taxes. The customer warrants that any resale number it provides to Karice is valid, and will provide a valid tax ID number, which is required to export products from Canada to the USA.

DAMAGES

Products are inspected and carefully packed before leaving our facility. If products arrive damaged — visible or concealed — claims must be filed against the carrier immediately. Keep all packaging materials. Karice is not responsible for freight-related claims.

WARRANTY

Custom fixtures may vary slightly in final size, surface, and color. Karice reserves the right to change, discontinue, or modify the design, production, dimensions, or materials of any product, and to substitute materials equal or superior to those originally specified.

Karice warrants its products to be free of manufacturing defects for one year from the date of shipment from the Karice facility. Karice will repair or replace the product at its option. All costs to remove or reinstall at the jobsite are the customer’s responsibility, as are shipping charges. Karice is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, maintenance, or operation. Any tampering or modification voids the warranty. Drivers are excluded and covered under their manufacturer’s own warranty.

Karice is not liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to damage or loss of other property or equipment, loss of profits or revenue, cost of capital, or business interruption.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Dust with a clean, soft cloth. Clean with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents.
