A Bouquet of Floral Light Suspended in a Private Residence
For this private residence in Canada, we customized our signature Bloom fixture into a floral chandelier inspired by the shape and individuality of flowers.
Bloom combines hand-blown glass with genuine brass petals, giving each piece its own subtle differences. The petals are precision-cut, then formed and heat-treated by hand rather than produced as identical repeating pieces.
For this residence, several Bloom pendants were grouped to create a larger floral chandelier composition. Rather than reading as individual fixtures, the floral forms come together like a bouquet of light, creating one suspended feature in the room.
The lighting itself uses dim-to-warm COB technology. This allows the colour temperature to shift from 3000K down to 1800K. Combined with the hand-blown glass, this gives our floral chandelier lighting a warmer character as it dims.
For this residential lighting project, the customized Bloom brings together sculptural metalwork, glass, and LED light into a floral light fixture that keeps the reference clear without literally reproducing a flower.
