A Cascading Cluster of Illuminated Rings Through an Open Office Space
For this corporate head office in Canada, we customized our signature Electron pendant into a vertical cluster pendant lighting installation that drops through the double-height office space.
The Electron was originally inspired by the subatomic particle and the way electrons release energy as photons. This concept carries naturally into this multi-pendant chandelier, where multiple illuminated rings appear to float independently beneath one canopy.
Each ring pendant light is illuminated along both its inner and outer edges, so the glow remains visible from several angles. The co-axial suspension also keeps the wiring visually restrained. This is especially useful in an installation where the pendants are meant to be seen from the side as well as from below.
By adapting the Electron into a larger custom pendant lighting composition, Karice was able to turn a single ring fixture into a layered vertical feature suited to the scale of the space.
