Reimagining Workplace Lighting Through Custom Glass Innovation
Sanofi’s New Jersey workplace called for lighting that felt refined, contemporary, and consistent across a variety of collaborative spaces. Rather than relying on standard fixture families, Karice developed a collection of custom glass luminaires that balanced architectural simplicity with advanced manufacturing techniques.
A key part of the project was the development of custom molded glass globes ranging from 18 to 28 inches in diameter. Achieving consistent illumination and flawless glass quality across multiple sizes required extensive engineering, manufacturing refinement, and quality control. The result was a family of fixtures that delivers a unified visual language throughout the workplace while maintaining exceptional lighting performance.
Complementing the globe fixtures, Karice also engineered custom linear installations featuring illuminated elliptical glass shades. Designed specifically for the project, these modular fixtures provide flexibility for varying room layouts while reinforcing the clean architectural character of the interior.
Together, the installations demonstrate how custom lighting can establish a cohesive identity across an entire workplace while adapting to the unique function of each individual space.
