A Showroom Lighting Story Told Through Cubes and Sculptural Forms
Montauk Sofa’s showroom is built around texture, furniture, and display – exposed brick, dark millwork, polished floors. And the custom lighting needed to work within that mix.
For this project, we provided two of our signature lighting families: CUBE lighting in pendant and table formats, and a custom sculptural lighting installation.
Cube Pendant Lighting and Table Lamps
The CUBE fixtures showed up in three different ways throughout the showroom.
Against the brick wall, red, yellow, and blue cube pendants hang at varied heights, each one a small, precise point of LED light. Together, they read as a bright graphic layer against the space’s industrial backdrop.
Above the counter, a more subtle version took shape as silver cube LED pendants. They run in a clean linear row, which gave the display zone a more restrained look.
Lastly, the LED cube table lamp took the same idea and turned it into a movable object. It’s built in the style of a Meccano set, with an adjustable arm for angle and height projection.

Sculptural Floor Lamps
Modern sculptural floor lamps brought in a different material presence to the showroom. Illuminated orb forms sit inside open, textured spherical shells.
Placed near the sofa display, they brought light down at furniture height rather than overhead. It was a softer counterpoint to the cube LED pendant lighting elsewhere.
