A Wine Tasting Room Anchored by Karice’s Signature Octave Chandelier
A winery tasting room needs lighting with intent.
For Long Meadow Ranch Winery’s tasting room in Anderson Valley, that meant a chandelier with warmth, precise control over direction, and enough sculptural presence to anchor the space above the table.
The Octave Chandelier
The Octave Chandelier was first created for Long Meadow Ranch Winery and has since become one of Karice’s signature fixtures.
Designed by Maurice Dery from Karice and Yoko Ishihara, the fixture was developed as an 8-lamp wine room chandelier suited to the tasting room setting. The chandelier gives the room a sculptural centerpiece above the table without crowding the space.
Tilting Cone Shades and Brass Swivels
The fixture illuminates through eight tilting cone shades, each fitted with a genuine brass swivel that lets the light heads adjust independently. That gives this cone shade chandelier more control than a fixed multi pendant chandelier. For winery lighting, that flexibility matters.
The Octave can direct light onto the table while still reading as a modern sculptural chandelier from across the room. A fixture built around the experience of gathering, tasting, and looking closely.
