Arched Globe Table Lamps Bring Light Down to the Dining Tables
At Nonsuch Brewing Co. in Winnipeg, glass globe table lamps rise directly from the dining tables, then curve overhead to bring each illuminated globe closer to where guests sit.
It’s a different take on a typical restaurant table lamp. Instead of keeping the fixture low and compact, we used a taller arched form that extends above the table and carries the light out over the seating area.
Repeated throughout the brasserie, these custom table lamps become part of the room’s visual identity. Their height gives them some of the presence of pendant lighting, while still keeping each fixture anchored to the table.
This design also works well with the interior. The ceiling already has a strong decorative presence, but our decorative table lamps bring light down into the dining area without competing with what is happening overhead.
