PROTON LED PENDANT

Proton is our newest take on modern lighting design. Proton, was designed to complement our Electron series, and has been finished in similar tones to 2019’s newest Pantone Color scheme. Blazing a new trail in product development, the coral tones of our light are meant to be electrifying. The light is also offered in our standard gold, silver and black finishes, but the coral is intended for those who dare to be different.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT and INSPIRATION

Tasked with designing a new fixture for a client’s very specific space, a new design was created using the look and feel of our Electron lighting series. Proton is was the result of this project.

In the atomic world, the positively charged protons attract the negatively charged electrons. Thus, both Electron and Proton from the Karice Modern Lighting Collection are sure to present an atomically diverse attraction in any interior décor.

Like its predecessor, Proton’s aesthetic is minimalistic, while masking a highly innovative creation below the surface. Made with aluminum and acrylic, the light’s efficient engineering hides all fasteners and wiring, and maintains the oval shaped ring’s suspended independence without compromising beauty or functionality. Using dimmable energy efficient LED technology, the light illuminates from its inner and outer edges without shadowing.

Olo

OLO LED PENDANT

In preparation for the IDS Vancouver 2016 show Karice went to work in a big way to produce six brand new lighting designs. Karice was very busy indeed to get all of the new lights designed and crafted for the show.

OLO was inspired by the connector we had used on our Electron Tri-Pendant. We loved the shape, and chose to make a light using the oval shape. We employed the use of acrylic for the diffuser to eliminate the seismic concern one has when using glass.

The light uses LED technology to promote energy efficiency. OLO is almost identical to the Mini Fuse pendant. The lighting parts that make up the light are interchangeable.

Fuse – Mini

MINI FUSE LED PENDANT

Mini Fuse was inspired by our OLO pendant. We were inspired to make a slight design change, instead of rounded ends, we made flattened ends.Again, we employed the use of acrylic for the diffuser to eliminate the seismic concern one has when using glass.

Mini Fuse was designed in house by lead designer and maker Maurice L. Dery. The light uses LED technology to promote energy efficiency.

The OLO light is almost identical to the Mini Fuse pendant. The lighting parts that make up the light are interchangeable.

Modern, modular, and minimalist, the Mini Fuse reminds us of an automotive fuse, hence the reason for its name. What is really unique about this light is its interchangeability with our OLO light. Switch out the ends and you have lipstick, or bullet! The possibilities are endless with our decorative lights. Have fun with creating unique, lighting arrangements with our decorative light fixtures.

Handcrafted Lighting made in Canada Local to Vancouver, BC

As with all Karice product, all lights are handcrafted in our facility in British Columbia.
This new lighting design enables endless finishing options. The corner pieces can be finished in an entirely different finish from the edges, or finish them the same.

Fuse – Mega

MEGA FUSE LED PENDANT

Our mega fuse light is the third light in the FUSE series. Aiming for a larger size with the ability to house an MR16 LED bulb for maximize light output, Mega Fuse was conceived. The light is 3″ diameter and 17″ tall. Beaming with lumens – 856 vertical and 411 down the light is sure to be a welcome addition to the space you intend to place the light.

The light marries well with our fuse and mini fuse lighting products. All products are similar in design.

The light is available in light gold, silver and black anodized finishes.

Luxennea Series 2

LUXENNEA SERIES 2 LED PENDANT

The Luxennea Series 2 LED pendant is our new release of an already popular lighting design. Inspired by geometric shapes, our light is a nine sided “LUX” (light) “ENNEAGON”. A sculptural creation that uses diffused light pointing inward to create beautiful ambient light.

The light is composed of nine (x9) faceted sides on the inner and outer diameters; a simple enneagon geometric shape is perfect for today’s modern home or commercial space. The possibilities are endless.

The light is illuminated with LEDs that gives the light high lumen efficiency, low power consumption, and long life.

Constructed with Karice’s proprietary aluminum extrusion, the light can be made with the illumination pointing in, down, out or up.
