The Electron Concept – Our Inspiration for This Stunning LED Pendant and Wall Sconce

In physics, the electron is a subatomic particle with a negative elementary, electric charge. Electrons radiate energy in the form of photons when accelerated. Thus begins the inspiration for the light that we have designed and titled “The Electron”.

The Electron pendant is part of a lighting series that has been in development since December 2015. The electron wall sconce was the first fixture of this series. We have now designed and manufactured the Electron pendant and tri-pendant and multi-pendant chandelier.

The Electron reflects efficient engineering, without compromising beauty or functionality. It is illuminated with energy efficient LED strips through frosted clear acrylic along the inner and outer rings. The double-sided lighting maximizes illumination, while the LED maximizes efficiency. Aside from its beauty, the frosted acrylic also serves a functional purpose, as it is easy on the eyes. There are no hot spots, as they are cleverly concealed. The light has a pleasing color temperature of 3000K.

Like the subatomic particle, the light is deceptively simple. But as you delve deeper, its ingenuity is revealed. On the front surface, there are no visible fasteners on either side of the rings, which allows for a clean and refined finish. The light is suspended from co-axial cable which offers a clean suspended appearance. The light with no visible electrical wiring pollution, it appears to be floating in mid-air.

The Electron is simple and refined, yet modern and futuristic. The pendant is part of a broader lighting series that includes a hanging pendant, and a wall sconce. Each Electron was designed, developed, and manufactured by Karice Enterprises Ltd., in British Columbia, Canada.

The development of this luminaire employed many complex manufacturing processes, all of which were done in house at the Karice Facility just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada The anodized finish of the pieces can be selected in either gold, silver or black.

Luxennea Diamond

LARGE HANGING CHANDELIER

CONCEPT – THE MAKING OF OUR SIGNATURE LARGE CHANDELIER

Large Hanging Chandelier designed by Karice, inspired by the Florentine Diamond.

The Diamond Luxennea large chandelier is inspired by the nine sided Florentine Diamond. The Florentine Diamond is known for its 126 facet double rose cut, which allows for more light to be reflected off of it, making it sparkle and shine unlike any other diamond. The Diamond Luxennea chandelier’s sides point down at a 45 degree angle, with a meticulously set hanging height to form a continuous visual line from one light to the other. This is a true suspended chandelier, as it is hanging from aircraft cables. This gives our chandelier a unique style as it appears to be floating in mid air.

As with all Karice product, all lights are handcrafted in our facility in BC. The customization options are endless, order the light in any size to fit your room. This light is designed for the large scale application. Pictured is our 7ft and 5ft diameter tiers. The lens direction can also be tailor made to your choice. Choose to have the lens pointing in or out or up or down. Let the room dictate how you want the illumination to be. This new lighting design enables endless finishing options.

Luxennea Diamond Series 2

The Diamond Luxennea Series 2 is our new release of an already popular lighting design. A sculptural masterpiece with 45 degree facets creates a spectacle of visual interest. When the light is pointing inwards and down, the light is fully functional to create the perfect mood lighting for your dining experience.

The light is composed 9 faceted sides on the inner and outer diameters, a simple enneagon geometric shape is perfect for today’s modern home or commercial space.

The light is illuminated with LEDs that gives the light high lumen efficiency, low power consumption, and long life.

Luxennea Diamond M

The modern, modular, minimalist third edition of Karice’s well received Diamond Luxennea contemporary chandelier series.

DIAMOND LUXENNEA M-SERIES

Modern, modular, and minimalist, the Diamond Luxennea M-series brings a fresh approach to Karice’s original design – a contemporary floating chandelier inspired by the Florentine Diamond. Using an entirely new production methodology, Karice has re imagined the minimalist segment of the contemporary geometric genre in modern lighting design.

The Diamond Luxennea is a two-tiered energy efficient LED chandelier light fixture suspended by aircraft cables – giving it the appearance of floating in mid-air. The seven- and five-foot diameter tiers are nine-sided like the Florentine Diamond. Resembling the Florentine’s cut and brilliance, the chandelier’s sides are angled at 45 degrees, and are suspended meticulously to form a continuous visual line.

The third edition of this ground-breaking series, the M-series, is modular. This allows for a high degree of customizability to the specific wishes of the patron. The size and configuration of the finished piece can readily vary, with minimal effort. The development process has been refined to effortlessly accommodate a wide array of permutations.

As with all Karice product, all lights are handcrafted in our facility. This new lighting design enables endless finishing options. The corner pieces can be finished in an entirely different finish from the edges, or finish them the same.

Circulus LED Pendant

Our Inspiration for This Stunning LED Pendant a Circle of Light

Dimmable, Energy Efficient, Custom Design, Multiple Sizes

A circle is a closed shape in geometry. It is a universal symbol representing infinity.

We present our new light, inspired by geometric shapes, Circulus, the symbol of infinite light. A ring of light that illuminates 360 degrees. Energy efficient LEDs are used in this light, pointing both up and downwards, an offering not seen in other lights in the market.

Constructed out of aluminum, the light is a unique composition when viewed from on top and below the fixture. An entirely different spectacle is seen from underneath the light. A stepped linear structure is crafted that offers multiple visible lines that create a visual interest to the design.

Available in 24”, 40” and 48” diameter sizes and multiple finishing options. Our light as shown is finished in a medium bronze powder coat finish.
